                     CHOCOLATE PLASTIC

This recipe is 'by far' one of the best kept secrets in

cake decorating because it's unbelievably easy to

work with and yields professional results.

                                                     Try it and see!

                 Ingredients:

                    1 pound semisweet chocolate, chopped

                    3/4 cup light corn syrup

                           cocoa powder

   Method:

    1.  Melt chocolate in a large metal bowl over a pan of simmering water. Stir

occasionally until smooth. Remove from heat, and stir in the corn syrup. The

mixture will become sticky, but keep stirring until very well blended.

    2.  Spoon onto a piece of plastic wrap, and wrap tightly. Let stand at room

temperature until firm before using. Overnight is best. Use unsweetened cocoa

powder on work surfaces to prevent sticking.

  FUN & FANCY

As a frequent traveler, I'm often amazed at how dramatically my mood changes depending on where I am staying. I have stayed in some very nice hotels that were so warm and welcoming that I loved being in my room. Other rooms were so dark and uninviting I found my mood spiraling downward.
