BLUEBERRY CREAM CHEESE SANDWICHES & MILKSHAKE Blueberry finger sandwiches & a thick cold blueberry milkshake, what could be better? Ingredients: 12 - 16 ounces of cream cheese 2 cups fresh cold milk 2 cups vanilla ice cream 2 cups fresh thawed Cool Whip 3 cups fresh or frozen blueberries 1 tablespoon cornstarch 3/4 cup of white sugar whole wheat, white or rye bread Method: 1. Over medium heat, cook 6 cups water, 3 cups blueberries and sugar until water evaporates down and there is approximately 2 cups of blueberry 2. To obtain a smooth, dark blueberry sauce, stain out the seeds and pulp. . BLUEBERRY SANDWICHES: 3. With electric mixer, beat cream cheese with prepared blueberry sauce, add amounts of cream cheese and blueberry sauce according to taste preference. 4. Prepare sandwiches according to preference, cutting off crust with a sharp, serrated knife before serving. |
